BLOG

One of my besties from growing up is a baller– both in the literal and figurative sense. Yes, we dribbled the ol’ leather pumpkin down the basketball court quite a few times in our youth whilst singing Aaron Carter and making up raps about lasagne… but somehow we both kinda turned out OK now in our 20s. (PSA: if Kara and I can make it, you can too!)
Right now, Kara ’s a part of a pretty cool new blog initiative called The Lovely Project   that I am proud to Oooh and Awwww over like a newborn baby or cake full of candles.

The Lovely Project began as a  question .  An outrageous question, really.
How would my city be changed if the women living here were whole:  emotionally, spiritually, and relationally?
The Lovely Project began as an   idea .  An outrageous idea, really.
I could ignite change in the women around me.
The Lovely Project began as a   dream .  An outrageous dream, really.
That teams of women, young and old, would go beyond, connect with, relate to and empower the women around them.

Pretty cool, right? Not only is the site beautiful, the words are—well, LOVELY— as well.
To getcha started, they have an awesome post on Farmer’s Market Cooking . Which, you know, is like the instagram/townie/pinterest dream. So get to it, ya’ll and enjoy the Loveliness.
