Yes, it’s International Waffle Day! Huzzah!  Waffle Day began in Sweden as “Våffeldagen” and is celebrated by the eating of many waffles on March 25. (Thanks, Internet, for that enlightening tidbit.)   America’s National Waffle Day is August 24th (the anniversary of the patenting of the first US waffle iron invented by Cornelius Swarthout) so we can party twice a year… or every day if you’re Leslie Knope.
